Description

Gorgeous pair of Hollywood Regency-style peacock figurines are white porcelain bisque made from hollow molds which were then given a hand-painted and decorated finish. The colors are wonderfully saturated, peacock-green and blue, chartreuse, and yellow-orange, with fine glitter and and fine textured/beaded material in white. MCM, approximately 1960s.

Large Peacock: 8" H x 6-1/2" W x 2-5/8" D
Small Peacock: 4-1/2" H x 7-1/2" W x 1-3/4" D
Though these resemble the popular Syroco style peacocks, I don't see any identifying marks. It's likely this was a popular theme copied by several makers of the period.
